This laser engraved dragon wing jewelry component was designed by Anne Smarzik aka Metal Maven.
The dragon wing pairs with our #80 Dragon of Old Impression Die Pressing that is a pressing of Potter USA I173 Looping Dragon of Old Die.
This component is a sterling silver piece that is 1-3/16" wide and 1/2" tall.

Usage
The component is slightly curved and has been tumbled to remove any sharp edges. You will need to do some light sanding of the surface with fine grain sandpaper or a nail buffing block.
Bend the tab with the scales slightly so it will fit the body of the dragon.
Next, use a file to round the edges if you choose. Lastly, solder the wing to the dragon's body, then apply a patina to your piece, and then buff again with sandpaper or nail buffing block to remove the patina from the high areas before polishing.
A JoolTool can also be used for rounding the edges and polishing.
